On December 6, 7 and 8, 1994, the Graduate Center in Economics of the Argentine Catholic University held the VIII International Seminar in the city of Miami, at the 1st Summit of the Presidents of America, where more than 120 exhibitors participated, Among which were the President of the Argentine Republic, the President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, the President of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Secretary General of the Organization of American States among more than 120 exhibitors and 800 attendees. The President of the United States had convened the Summit for free trade in America, the defense of the environment and the fight against drug trafficking. Given the success of the International Seminar, several meetings were held a posteriori in order to summarize the conclusions, and it is in those meetings that the idea of ​​carrying out a Program that takes up the proposal of the Summit, of promoting Life and winning wins to “the Culture of Death”, starting with Argentina.

Throughout the year 1995 an international investigation was carried out on the best Programs that in the United States and Europe could add information and added value to the original idea, and the Program was structured by testing it in primary, secondary and university Educational Institutions. The Talents for Life program was presented to Pope St. John Paul II on November 7, 1995 to ask for his blessing, at the White House on January 8, 1998 in the interest of Gen. Barry McCaffrey, Director of the Office National Drug Control Policy of the Presidency of the United States and before the authorities of the International Olympic Committee and to many governmental institutions and entities related to Education and Culture. During the X International Seminar in the city of Miami, in December of 1995, and in front of the important auditorium of authorities, businessmen and Institutions of all America, Enrique Torrendell, President of the Center of Graduates in Economy of the Catholic University of Argentina announced the launch of the Talents for Life Program, explaining its objectives and implementation in different countries, starting with Argentina. Its birth is planned making it coincide with the Atlanta Olympics 1996, in August of that year, after a successful adhesion campaign of participating companies and Institutions.

The management, implementation and international development of the Talents for Life Program, was successfully launched at the 2nd Summit of the Presidents of America, in Santiago, Chile, on April 17, 1998, during the XV International Seminar, with the good omens of the participating personalities and distinguished personalities of America.

International Reach In December 1994 in Miami, USA, the idea was born in the 1st. Summit of the Presidents of America to carry out the Talent for Life Program. During 2014/19 “The Jesuit Art in America & Worlwide” Program was developed with Jesuit works of art from different countries of our continent that also included a traveling exhibition of photographs & videos of unpublished works of art.
