The Educational Cultural Program of the Cultural Center Borges and Talentos para la Vida provided personalized attention to school groups, offering them Participatory Guided Tours and Interactive Children’s Theater, according to the different educational levels. He presented two programs:

Interactive Children’s Theater

The proposal was to bring children dramatic pieces that not only were seen as theatrical performances, but also through the educational sheets given to teachers, they also served as a school activity in the subject to which the piece referred to. The repertoire consisted of:

“Travelers’ Doubt” – E.G.B.
The idea was to sow doubt in the boys; that the boys travel to the past to understand the present and project to the future.
Target audience: boys from 8 to 14 years old.

“The Lost Man in a Mirror” – Polimodal
The goal was for the boys to participate in the Borgian world through the game, thus becoming aware of the hard work a writer has to narrate his fictions. We believe that the best way to bring Borges’s literary universe closer to children is to use some of its constant themes (labyrinths, mirrors, the reality of the other, fictional reality based on true historical facts, etc.) Public to whom Directs: boys from 14 to 17 years old.

Art at stake
During the visits, the guide combines explanations, proposals to observe and discover, and slogans to work on. They are developed in the form of a workshop, ensuring that the level of participation of the children is very high.

The understanding of the works was based on learning about the artist’s life, his vision of his own work, the explanation of the context in which it was created and the interpretations that can be made today.

To the large number of proposals for plastic, activities for schools in our multimedia space, and cultural and literary proposals are added.
